FBC Boiling Spring Lakes is a place for everyone! No matter who you are or where you’ve been, this community is here for you. We believe you were created on purpose, for a purpose, and uniquely fashioned by God.
Our Story
First Baptist Church Boiling Spring Lakes more commonly known as BSL was founded in 1965 by a group of people who had a desire to see the people of the town of Boiling Spring Lakes have a place to worship and for the church to bring others into a faith in Jesus.
As with many groups, families and churches there have been good times and hard times but FBC BSL is still here today to share the love of Jesus with this community.
We are so blessed and amazed at the wonderful people that God has brought together to make up BSL. We have people here in this church from all over the United States, but our common goal – knowing God and desiring to make Him known – brings us together. We desire to impact the world with God’s love, beginning in our own backyard or lake and then throughout the world.
We are not a perfect church, because we are made up of imperfect people, but we serve a perfect God who is continually at work in and around us.
If you are looking for a church, or maybe just have some unanswered questions about who God is or if He is even real, we invite you to come join us sometime soon. We’d love to meet you and introduce you to some amazing people and an amazing God if you don’t already know Him!

Children
On Sundays we do offer nursery and we offer “Kid’s for Christ” dubbed KFC! That is for Elementary aged kids.
Rip Tide Youth
Youth in grades 6-12 meet weekly for Sunday school and Wednesday night fellowship.

What to expect if you visit
If you are coming to visit with us on a Sunday morning that is wonderful news! We truly look forward to seeing you. If you are worried about what to wear don’t worry about it. Our Pastor might have on a tie once in a while but mostly you will just see him in a polo shirt and he has been spotted with just a t-shirt on. We have folks that wear shorts and some that wear suits.
On Sundays we do offer nursery and we offer “Kid’s for Christ” dubbed KFC! That is for Elementary aged kids. So, while you are worshiping and receiving preaching your kids will be in an environment where they will have the opportunity to learn about the Love of God in a way that is suited specifically for them.
We also have Sunday school Classes on Sunday Mornings starting at 9:45am
